“It’s pretty normal to feel insecure about making a career transition. I know lots of people who feel stuck in a job that offers financial security but not much else. Maybe you have outgrown a profession you once loved or find yourself wrestling with insecurities about making a change, especially when your change might impact people you love or your financial responsibilities. Some people would suggest to just quit, and if you have the financial means to do this maybe this is right for you. If not, how about using your evenings, weekends and holidays to learn, practise and certify in a new skill that will carry you forward into the next chapter of your life?
When I first started Mountain High I took a part-time job on a temporary contract. This helped to make sure I could at least cover my basic living expenses in the start-up phase. Within six months I was able to let this go and focus 100% on Mountain High projects. What can you do to get started?”
